CERN Croquet Club

Established in 1982, as a Croquet Club, we have expanded over the years to include: Lawn Bowls and Gateball.

The CERN Croquet Club is located on the CERN site in Prévessin, France. Expertly maintained and perfectly flat, the lawns provide a consistent surface for play. The grounds are expansive, offering ample room for two regulation Croquet lawns.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

We offer sports on grass courts open to all ages, genders, and abilities. All equipment and instruction are provided. Please be sure to wear flat-soled shoes.

While Croquet and Lawn Bowls are traditional British sports, Gateball originated in Japan. Based on the rules of croquet, it is a gentler, fast-paced team sport open to all ages.
